I am writing to express my appreciation for the exceptional customer service that I have received from Brandfon Honda.

I purchased my Honda in September, 2010. My sales person, Joel DeMarco, was wonderful and totally customer focused and made sure that I was a satisfied customer. To my delight that customer service and satisfaction has followed through to the service department.

My first experience with the service department was when I brought my Honda in for its oil change. I was in and out in less than a 1/2 hour. However,  I was so impressed while  I waited in the waiting area that a gentleman came by to offer shuttle service. What a great service to offer!!! I was equally impressed with the friendly service, attitude, and total customer focus.

My next two experiences were with a noise my car had. The service technicians took the car; test drove it, checked it on the lift, and spent much time trying to determine what was causing the noise. After many hours and much work and time by the service department, it was found to be a piece of plastic! During all this time, everyone made sure that my needs were cared for, including renting a car for me for the day!!!!!!

Hats off to Brandfon Honda–You are doing a terrific job with Customer Service and Customer Satisfaction.

From the very first phone call, I was amazed by the customer service I received. I asked the receptionist to recommend a sales person that I could work with. I told her I was looking for someone that would not patronize me because I am a single woman.

The person that answered the phone did an excellent job in directing me to Joann. I spoke with Joann on the phone and really laid it on the line. I told her I didn’t want to deal with the BS of buying a car, and would not put up with the games that other car dealers play. I was not in a good mood having just dealt with idiots at a local high end dealership .This did not shake Joann at all. She took it all in stride, and politely ask what she could do to help. I was amazed. I laid out my list, and she told me that she felt she could help. A story I had heard more then a few times before from other dealerships in the area, only to walk into the dealership,have them take my keys for my trade in and then tell me, “OH, we can’t find your keys” when I wish to storm out because of their ridicules offer. Really? really, I thought the hide the keys game went out in the 80s, but not the case in East Haven.

So I decided to stop down, and take a look at the car, thinking that more then likely, I wasn’t going to buy a Honda.

From the moment I walked in the door I was welcomed. NOT rushed. I didn’t feel pressured, or attacked. I politely asked for Joann, and waited. I only had to wait a moment, before Joann to come around the corner to welcome me. She was with another customer, yet she wanted to welcome me and let me know she would only be a moment. I told her not to rush, as I did not call her to let her know I was coming down as she had asked. I waited around a little bit, looked at some brochures and then asked a nice young man if I could look at one of the cars I came in to see. He didn’t hesitate to run and grab me some keys.

I went out to the car, and it was only another moment for Joann to make sure I was OK. I told her I was fine. There I was, looking at this beautiful vehicle all by myself. I loved it. Then I came in only to be directed to the computer to look up the Honda’s on line. Now I will say that their showroom does pales in comparison to the higher end dealerships, with their 20 different types of coffee, LCD TV, 1/4″ napkins and 500 gallon fish tank , but when it all comes down to it, who cares? I can’t take the showroom home with me, and once I purchase the car, how offen am I going to go there? Well with all the recent recalls, apparently a lot more then I wanted to . But you know what I mean.

The point I am trying to make is, Branford Honda is a wonderful dealership. I walked in the door with a ball cap on my head, dirty jeans and an old sweatshirt, and they treated me as a valued customer. Not only was Joann wonderful, but the management staff was delightful and polite as well. Each one that I met, approached me with a big smile and a warm handshake. Not because I was sitting in a office, arguing about pricing and having to play the game , “I have to check with my manager” …. The dealership didn’t have the car I wanted on the lot, and they still were as kind and attentive as can be. I am writing this glowing review because they deserve it. I would recommend them to anyone. I am not sure what vehicle I am going to purchase, but the Honda Car Makers, should be proud that Branford Honda is selling their cars.

I think that other car marker should screen who they allow to sell their products more thoroughly.
I have dealt with dealerships that have made me NOT want to purchase a car, based on treatment/ service, but not the car, i.e, why I was at the Honda dealership in the first place, but I have NEVER had a dealership make me want to buy a car based on the treatment and service and not the car.

If you are looking to purchase a NEW or USED car, stop by Branford Honda. Even if you don’t purchase a Honda at least you will know how you SHOULD be treated, and you will not settle for less.
